LONG BEACH (coup2k.com) February 21, 2001 -- The Diva Formally Known As White and Democracy's Deep Throat share a desire to find Clarence "Let's Not Be Civil" Thomas a new home, preferably one far from the nation's highest court, where he can do only limited damage.
LYNNE: THE CLARENCE THOMAS CONUNDRUM… I more than loved the Clarence Thomas piece. I have been ruminating on him for years now trying to decide whether we as a race are free to put the bastard up for adoption, but I can't think of a race of bipeds that would have him (nor of quadrupeds for that matter). I haven't checked with the invertebrates, but I hear that even they have their standards. I think the amoebae have an opening, but they want a hefty placement fee for him. I am still ruminating…
THE DIVA: IS ADOPTION AN OPTION? Do you think that posting our offer (as black Americans) to put Clarence up for adoption, will get us branded as racist? I am new to the black race, and don't want to reflect badly on us. Please advise. I trust your judgment, Sis.
LYNNE: BRING ON THE HEAT As a BB (Born Black) person, I would be happy to answer any charges of racism that might arise out of an attempt to put CT up for adoption.
You, as a CB (Chose Black) person, might be accused of who-knows-what, but I suggest that you refer any and all charges of racism to me.
In the damn-near dozen years that bastard has been breathing SCOTUS air I've only met one BB person who thought that he was an honorable man, and she was an entertainment lawyer. Need I say more?
If you are truly worried, let it pass. Who knows the size of the bugs that people are cradling in their sphincters?
I, personally would do it. The point of it all is that CT (like O.J. and Colin and Condi) have used their skin color to draw them walks on the tough issue of how they're going to hang when the feces starts to ripen and any and all of them are fair game for me, for you, and for anybody who thinks that their deeds are shaky. I don't think that it's racist to say so.
If CT were a Native American I think it would be just fine to call him out for similar misbehavior. Ethnicity is not the determining factor in wanting to send him to an orphanage - it is his lack of integrity ultimately.
Remember CT's patented "high-tech lynching" comment that caused EVERYBODY to back off him during the confirmation hearings? They were questioning his integrity, and he made it about his skin color. It's a very old dodge. O.J. was facing life in prison, but he made it about race, and now he gets to keep playing golf, albeit on public courses more often than he'd like.
I welcomed you into the Black race because your heart is big and you are passionate about what matters; I'm ready to give CT away because just the opposite is true about him.
That's it. THE DIVA IS CONVINCED… AND SO…
