Hi all. I've finally finished my video based on the May 19 Voter Rights March in DC. It is a full hour long (VHS videotape) and includes Rose's (Fringefolk) address. If anyone wants a copy, email me your mailing address and I'll drop one in the mail no charge.
Also, I believe I've straightened out the technical problems I had on our Voter March DC website. You can now download a twenty minute video (Quicktime format) of Rose's address, or a much smaller (and faster to download) version (MP3 format) that has just the audio portion. Here's the link:

After returning from the march last weekend, I was a bit depressed about the turnout although still upbeat about all the great people I met. But since then I have talked to literally dozens of people who asked about the march, who expressed complete support for our "cause," and who apologized for not making it but had so many other pressing things going on (don't we all). A 75 year old grandmother asked me for a copy of my video, and told me about a dream she had last weekend: she said she
vividly saw Bush being kicked out of the White House on his butt, to crowds of cheering people. She was quite serious about the dream being a vision of things to come.
Regardless, I know there are more and more people daily who are joining for the long haul. Keep the faith.
