I feel it is my duty to remind everyone that Bush does not represent America. When he makes a decision, it is not America making a decision, it is Bush making a decision. He is a fascist totalitarian dictator who LOST the election, and managed a coup d'etat using his accomplices in the Un-Supreme Court to pull it off. He seized power illegally, and against the will of the people. We want him impeached. Please do not regard his actions as a reflection of the American people because the American people did not elect him. He lost in Florida, and in the nation.
Our President is Al Gore, and only a decision by Al Gore should be viewed as a reflection on America. Bush may be living in the White House, but he is nothing but a former Texas governor and a criminal in the eyes of the American people. His cronies in the Un-Supreme Court have been dismantling all the laws which have been passed over the past 60 years to protect people's civil rights, no doubt with John Ashcroft's approval.
In the past few weeks they struck down employee's rights to sue over sexual harassment, disabled people's rights to sue over discrimination, and they are about to strike down affirmative action. In these five criminal's minds, Americans have no rights at all. America is on the brink of becoming a Nazi fascist state. Bush is a criminal. For him and his five judge friends to declare all our nation's laws invalid, or revoke them, is the same as breaking our nation's laws. Unfortunately, the Un-Supreme Court apparently has the authority to do whatever it wants, without approval from the Senate, even when they base their actions upon their own personal views; even when there are no existing laws or statutes to support their decisions.
We are a nation in distress, and the only way we can be saved is if Bush is impeached and Al Gore is restored to his rightful place in the White House.
ACTION ALERT: ACT LOCALLY A Proposal to Fight Voucher Effects By Mike at LegitGov.Org
LOBBY YOUR STATE LEGISLATURE LOBBY YOUR LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
From: mike Sent: Saturday, April 14, 2001 3:57 PM Subject: A Proposal To Fight Vouchers Effects
On a local level, it's time for democrats concerned about Church-State Separation to fight fire with fire. Does your locality or state have school vouchers? It's time we started proposing bills which limit the religious right's ability to brainwash children in areas where school vouchers are legal.
If you live in an area that already has vouchers, and have any democrats in your municipality or state legislature, write them or lobby them and ask for a new provision to be introduced which would strictly exclude any school which engages in verbal or psychological abuse from the school voucher program.
Ask that Verbal and Psychological Abuse, whether consented to by the parent or not, be defined in terminology which classifies all forms of threats, including threats of "eternal damnation" or "burning in hell" as verbal and psychological abuse.
While religious schools have the freedom to use such terminology, the state does have the right to deny them voucher assistance in such cases.
Public school teachers are prohibited from using such language in their classrooms, and if tax money is being granted to a religious school, that school should be required to abide by the basic ethics standards as public schools, or be excluded from voucher qualification.
You can lobby your local officials and if they are not responsive, start a petition for a ballot measure. Most parents would not want their children to be subject to verbal abuse. The measure could be called the "Children's Mental Health Protection Act".
