Yesterday, I asked BBBR Resistance Fighters to write in and give me advice on how to fight the right wing:

SISTER NAPALM'S ADVICE
Dearest Diva,
The very first thing that needs to be done to fight the Reich-wing is start a campaign of "Accuracy in Naming." This means correcting EVERYONE when they use polite euphemisms like "pro-life" or "socially liberal but fiscally conservative" and the like.
In my opinion, the only people who can legitimately use the term pro-life are those who are not only anti-abortion but also anti-death penalty. If they are truly "pro-life" then they accept the sanctity of the life of the murderer as well as the murdered. If they are truly "pro-life" they would work to protect the lives of the oppressed abroad. If they are truly "pro-life" they would condemn wars based on religion, ethnicity, greed, gender, sexual orientation, etc. If they are truly pro-life they should also be in favour of protecting the environment. (You know, that thing that actually supports all LIFE on the planet!)
From now on, anyone who claims to be "pro-life" gets a grilling from me. If they fail the test they are immediately corrected. The true terms would be ANTI-CHOICE, PRO-CORPORATION, PRO-WAR, PRO-DEATH PENALTY, PRO-ETHNIC CLEANSING, ANTI-LIFE.
Regarding that whole "socially liberal/fiscally conservative" crap. It is just that. Crap. A cop out. A way of sitting on the fence. If one is truly socially liberal then one actually puts one's money where one's mouth is. To say that you support mothers and children but don't support the safety net known as welfare is to NOT support mothers and children! It is to condemn battered/abandoned women and children to a life of hell. To say that you are in favour of decent health care for all, but against a socialised medical/dental system (like MOST 1st world countries have) is to condemn the poor and exploited in this country to a short, sickly life and a painful death. To say that you "feel sorry for" the homeless, but walk past them without seeing them or to block funding for shelters-rehab centers-training centers-publicly supported psychiatric care is to be guilty of mouthing empty platitudes while selfishly holding on to ever penny gotten from the misery of others.
And don't doubt it. Many of the pennies we get are gotten from the
misery of others. Even if we, ourselves are nice people. Remember, we are part of a system that only honors greed and callous indifference. Note what is happening in our business world, our politics, our cities, our neighborhoods. If we really want to change the world, the first thing we need to do is start naming things accurately. Even when it hurts. Even when if offends. Especially when it is obvious. It is impossible to fight something that is not seen for what it is.

It would take someone skilled and able to move about .
(Now if I were violent... things would be simpler... but I have no desire to hurt innocents... just want the idiot to step down and leave America...
