I think this is the course that the republican extremist have set for our country. They are hell-bent on installing just such an authoritarian rule. They use un-American, un-patriotic, outrageous, divisive propaganda to advance their cause. There can be no denying that the obsession with all things Clinton is the rallying point of their propaganda.
I talk with many otherwise reasonably intelligent engineers and managers (clients) every day who will offer 'ditto speak' of the pundits' Clinton bashing. They don't seem to have any perspective when they start into the pre-programmed spiel, I swear the spittle forms on their lips when they speak! It is as if these otherwise reasonable, rational, analytical, engineering types I work with suddenly become deranged monsters with a blinding blood lust.
This propaganda blitz that has been unstopped since Clinton took office shows no signs of stopping now. Even when the republicans have completely taken over the government and stopped all elections and freedoms, they will still be hammering on the Clintons and saying to the brain-washed public, "See how much better off you are with us instead of those animals?"
Obviously we are not going to accept that. So, since it appears obvious that the right wing plans to overthrow the government with a fascist regime, and it is equally obvious that at least half of the voting population will not agree with that, the stage is surely set for 'social revolution' as described in that article.
For those who think that last sentence is a bit extreme, let me say with no uncertainty that the republican agenda is completely transparent, they have already taken one of the most vital steps in overthrowing the government by the people, they rigged the election and gained power through un-American, un-democratic means. By means of lies, money, and propaganda the right wing was successful in the first step towards overthrowing a government, by forcibly installing a extremist right wing 'leader' in the highest office of our land.
We have been shown as well that the last resort of free people, the guarantee of justice for all, has also been denied. The judicial branch of our government has also been taken over for the most part by traitors to the constitution. Writers of simple parodies are investigated for crimes against the government, while those advocating radical, lethal treatment of the Clintons are ignored.
The government sponsored cleansing of liberals from government and society has begun in earnest. Bob Barr has sponsored legislation to permit the government to assassinate its enemies, this is the real stuff folks, they intend to literally kill all opposition.
Over the last few months as I became aware of this message list and others, as well as the numerous excellent web sites, I noticed and promoted the philosophy of spreading the truth about the election. My motivation was and is extreme outrage at the stolen election and the cowardly power-mad politicians who have placed partisanship above patriotism.
The message has morphed into a challenge to the republican propaganda and their assault upon the Clintons. The focus of this message has widened further against the news media talking heads and the rabid Clinton hating republican extremists in addition to the stolen election. And the media attention to the Clinton 'scandals' simply increases. The assumption that the main stream media is in bed with the right wing extremist is now inescapable, either as a result of ideological commitment or simply because tabloid journalism makes more money.
My awareness has increased, I am now forced to face the raw truth of the vast right wing conspiracy, and my optimism has declined somewhat.
My efforts have redoubled however!
