SAMPLE LETTER By Andrew J. Elliott
Dear President Gore,
I write today to extend you my warmest greetings, and to express my deepest respect for you, our rightfully elected President. The pretender, whose name and party affiliation shall not stain this page, is not and never shall be the real President. That honor belongs to you alone, who were duly and legally elected by a margin of over 500,000 more votes than your opponent.
No doubt the last months have been quite painful and wrenching for you and your family, and on behalf of the almost 51 million voters who chose you as their President, I apologize for what you have gone through. We the public were simply too complacent. We believed that, since the forces arrayed against counting the votes had so recently made great fuss about 'the rule of law', we needed only to let that legal process take its course. Today we, and I am sure you as well, are much wiser for the stinging lesson we have received.
In Los Angeles last summer, you spoke about fighting for us, for the people. From that time forward, my support for you has been enthusiastic and whole-hearted, and my depression and disillusionment at what the criminal party has foisted upon this country has been all the more painful for that enthusiasm.
Despite the slings and arrows that the criminal party and its mouthpieces in the media may direct against you, please do not drop out of the public eye. Not only do I want to see you back in 2004, I want to see you back in 2001, I want to hear you speak out today!
You are not a liar, you are not an empty suit, you are not the problem. And how could you be the sore loser? You won the election! Playing by the rules, you got the most votes, both in Florida and nationwide. Never lose sight of that fact, never lose courage, never think that the people are not aware of this truth. More citizens every day are voicing their outrage at the treason committed by the Supreme Court majority, and venting their disgust with the current occupant of the people's White House.
Mr. Gore, the fight did not stop in January when the usurper took the oath of your office. The usurper refers to us as "fringe people" who cannot "get over" the fact that the loser of the election was awarded the prize. He holds us in contempt, believing we cannot undo what his daddy's machine has done. If we give up, if we the people are silent, then Democracy is dead in this country.
In leading the "fringe", you lead the majority of voters in this great country. Please reconsider your public stance of acceptance and silence on the matter of the stolen election. Please speak out against the misguided policies of this illegitimate regime. Please be the leader we elected you to be.
Warm Best Wishes,
Andrew J. Elliott
