I sent you an IM the other night to offer words of appreciation for your work.  I checked out more of your site tonight and had to chuckle.

I hit the big "4-0" a few years back and it hit me then.  It hit me that I had always been holding back a little.  Of course, friends laughed heartily at this discovery of mine, in that none of them, not one, thought I had ever held back anything.  Heck, I am just a farmer's daughter.  I thought I had been holding back.  Funny thing.

Anyway .......... things did change.  I have not held back since.  With the campaign this past year, I too made a promise to not take anyone's nonsense, especially in regard to personal freedom, discrimination or general idiotic Rush Bu@#$%it.  I feel much better.

Just found you via our sainted Bartcop.  We libs must not give in to the lib temptation to live and let live, BUSH is the enemy of democracy, he stole an election in MY freaking country.

I went to the VP's home twice to support our guy Al; you would not believe the crazy gunnazis that were there.  Well, we all continue to fight the good fight, and remember as Rick said in Casablanca, "confusion to the enemy."

Subj:  Your New Years Resolution

Congratulations!  I'm thinking about resolving something of the same sort myself this year.

I am the only non-christian product of a virulently christian home.  (Fortunately, I escaped some 30 years ago.)  Recently, while talking about the election etc., my younger sister (who, by the way, works for the Government) informed me that she would like to see me in "life long quarantine" lest I be non-christian and happy right in front of other people, thereby endangering their immortal souls.  Since I would presumably not be able to speak to other people from quarantine, I'm thinking about giving her her wish, and no longer speaking to her.
