Subject: Gore Won! No need to recap why he democrats lost...
Dear New Democrats: Vice President Gore won the election, and the Republicans, with the Supreme Court's help, stole the election. It is a disservice to our party and our Vice President to do a recap of an election that we won as if we lost the vote. It seems the DLC's position of characterizing a win as a loss is to further it's own political agenda. The only patriotic stance is to stand together against the forces we are fighting outside our own party that have dealt a serious blow to democracy. That is the only way for good to come from this election.
As a fiscal conservative I believe the DLC has brought much to the political debate and done much good for our party. But we owe Vice President Gore our thanks for his loyal service and winning campaign.
