Dear BBBR Resistance Fighters and Site Surfers:
As you all may or may not have noticed, new BBBR original content has been infrequent of late. The reason for this is many-fold (or is it manifold? No, wait, that's the thingy under the hood of my car...), but the biggest reason is that I am in countdown mode for VoterMarch West on May 19th (a scant 8 days from now I will be flying to San Francisco).
Being allowed to speak at this event is a great honor for me, and a wonderful opportunity to do something positive to fight for the cause I have committed myself to since coup2k, so it is incredibly important that I do a bang-up job. I want my speech to be excellent (here come the sports clichés...):
I WANT TO HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK (baseball)
I WANT TO SLAM-DUNK IT (basketball)
I WANT IT TO BE A KNOCKOUT (boxing)
I WANT TO MAKE THE BIG PLAY (football)
So, between working on my speech (mostly panicking about my speech, I have to admit), designing new shirts for folks to wear at VoterMarch, making travel and lodging plans, reading Vincent Bugliosi's book to get fired up, and planning the BBBR/fringefolk reception after the March (RSVP if you will be in San Francisco, and would like to meet up after the March), there hasn't been much time left over for the BBBR site itself.
This is not a permanent condition. Believe me. Once VoterMarch is a proud memory, I will be back to my old Diva ways, writing and fighting, and entertaining the troops.
I promise.
But until then, I hope you will keep visiting to check for whatever updates I find the time to put up, and I hope you will act on new ACTION ALERTS as you are able.

Dear Resident Bush:
I have been watching you since the election from a cat's eye-view, and I have to ask, What him doing George? I mean, What him DOING?! Stealing the election and blocking vote counting? Bad George! Bad! BAD BOY!
Gale Norton for Secretary of the interior? What him THINKING George? How stupid was that? That would be great for the environment. I doubt if she even covers her own poop when she is done in the box! Should we make all of America her box?
John Ashcroft?! Hiss hiss spit spit hiss!
Taking the surplus created by a REAL president, a GOOD boy, and using it to make fat cats fatter? What him trying to pull, George? Stealing from the poor and middle class to pay off the rich is NAUGHTY. NAUGHTY BOY!
Stopping all federal funding for RIF? If you can read this, What him DOING?
What him doing, George? If you were here right now, I would use you for a scratching post, and spray you with the water bottle, Mr. Pay-Off-Fat-Cats-Who-Helped-Me-Steal-the-Election, Mr. Mean-to-Everybody-Nice! HISS!
