SEND CHECK TO DAN BURTON, CLINTON LIBRARY:
"QUID PRO QUO" FOR 8 YEARS EXCELLENT SERVICE
Many of us are going to send a check stapled to a letter to Dan Burton saying, "contribution to the Clinton Library--quid pro quo for 8 years of excellent service to our nation by President Clinton". Write the same thing on the "memo" or "for" line of your check and ask in the letter that it be forwarded to the library foundation. Send as much as you can and tell others. It might be a good idea to send a small check to Burton as described above and another larger one to the library. I think it would make a point with Burton and we should try to get some press off of it also! Contact the media and whomever you can about it. Encourage others to do it also.
Please put this information on your website and send to your mailings lists if you have them! Pass the info along to friends. If we only tell one or two people and ask them to encourage others who will tell others, etc., it can still amount to a lot of contributions.
